2015 has definitely been the year of going Back To The Future. Talk shows and the news have been riddled with the futuristic gadgets that actually came to fruition and those that haven't. We've heard all about Michael J Fox and what's going on with Lea Thompson (yawn!). It all came to a nauseating crescendo when October 21, 2015 finally came around for real. Just when you thought you were safe, in comes the latest update from The Energy Conservatory® to beat the horse a little more.
The makers of the Minneapolis Duct Blaster® have been teasing the release of their new DG-1000 digital gauge for months. This has surprised industry insiders who've expected their response, to the much lauded DM32 Digital Gauge from Retrotec, Ltd., well before now. It appeared that they hadn't even been working on an improved model until Retrotec fully delivered theirs. Then most thought they were taking time to improve upon the kitschy interface they first released months ago. However, it looks like they're just been making goofy videos. The first of which is below and I'm not seeing a lot of. . . well. . . ANYTHING.
The production quality is fairly high but there are no details about the gauge. After weeks of Back to the Future highlights on TV, I have to say it's pretty lacking in the originality department too. Take a look below and let me know what you think in the comments section.
If you can't wait to see what the future brings, you can always see it now here.
